For restaurant businesses the till gains a table selector, and orders flow to the kitchen rather than straight out of the door.
Tables
Set up your tables and sections once. At the till, pick the table before ringing up so the order is attached to it. An occupied table cannot be double-booked into a second order.
Kitchen
Orders arrive as kitchen tickets showing table, items and status. Kitchen staff move them from pending to preparing to ready. A Chef role sees the kitchen and the menu and nothing else — no prices, no takings.
Menu and recipes
The menu is what you sell; recipes record what each dish consumes. Both share one set of access rights, so a manager who can edit the menu can edit recipes.
Reservations and delivery
Reservations hold a table for a time. Delivery tracks an order out to an address — a Delivery Person role can see and update their deliveries and reach nothing else in the app.
